Richard Zuma: hearts has rejected me twice now I want to play for Asante kotoko

Former G8 hero Richard Zumah has diclosed that he want to play for kumasi Asante kotoko because of hearts of oak rejection and the fact that Maxwel Konadu is their head coach as he believes the former Black stars B gaffer will improve him

“As we speak now the team I want to play for is Asante [Kotoko], my focused is on them”- Zuma told Atinka fm

When asked about the chance hearts  gave him

“I’ve always said, I can’t betray hearts of oak ever, but I’ve realized that they don’t want to sign me, I offered myself to them in 2018 they didn’t mind me

I did same in 2019 when I returned from Iraq, I had series of meeting with Frederick Moore (managing director) and all that and even told them i need no money. They rejected me”

So now I want to play for Kotoko, I know I will add something to the team.”

Zuma became a talk of town after coming from the bench to score two goals to turn the match around for hearts in 2018.

Though Zuma was in hearts Jersey in that tournament, he was not a registered player for them, the move fell through later on and since he couldn’t join any other club in Ghana because the transfer window had shut, Zuma move to Iraq and is now back looking for a new club to join.
