Sports journalist Hits back at Nana Yaw Amponsah, describes his comment that GFA Exco is insensitive as factually ‘incorrect’ and ‘bogus’
The Bankroller of Phar Rangers Nana Yaw Amponsah has described the current GFA Executives as insensitive for not prioritizing the well being of football clubs amid covid-19 downturn
The former GFA Presidential hopeful insist it is not proper for the Executive council to spend on things like renovations and buying of cars at this period of Coronavirus outbreak
But this statement has been shot down by a sports journalist Jude Acheampong, who says the claims by Nana Yaw are untrue and should be treated with the contempt it deserves
“I Think Nana Yaw Amponsah needs a lil bit of Education here....
“It's an open secret that the GFA has not bought any cars under the leadership of Kurt E. S. Okraku, rather the GFA have made a big effort towards the fight to save lifes In Ghana.
“As far as am concerned, The GFA [has] not done any renovation whatsoever during this covid-19 period.”-Jude stated
The former atinka Fm sports journalists went on wit few questions
“Let me take this opportunity to ask a more relivant and sensitive question,
In the beginning when the GFA Unprecedentedly gave [your] (Nana Yaw Amponsah) club GHC25,000 from its coffers, were they insensitive ??
“When the GFA reduced the cost of the registration of each player they registered to10gh were they insensitive?
“When the GFA totally absorbed all fees for referees were they insensitive?
“When the GFA absorbed all fees for venue media officers and cameramen , were they insensitive??
“When the GFA gave him NanaYaw Amponsah 30 football's were they insensitive?
“When the GFA absorbed all fees for match commissioners were they insensitive?
He went on but this time tried to sets some records straight
“This current GFA has Engaged and presented proposals to government for support just like every facet of the economy that has been badly affected by the virus and Government has taken steps and clubs will see the fruits of this soon.
“The GFA used our heroes of the game and national team players in an educational drive to champion the course of bringing back the lost love to our game and not to forget, the GFA also gave out prampram to be used as one of the isolation centres to help fight the covid 19 Pandemic.
“Kurt E.S. Okraku and many of the current administration including members of the Executive Council, led and continue to live quality lifes before October 25 and they will still live good lives because the Almighty God continue to bless them for being honest at all times.
Jude went on with a piece of advice to the former FIFA intermediary
“Dont let the sadness in u bring hatred to the game u love n cherish soo much. Let's speak the truth and so show love n respect for each other at all times .
It's time to become one, join forces n help raised the standard of the game for our football to grow n develop the way we all want it.
“God Bless our homeland Ghana n make our football Great and Strong.”
