Veteran football Administrator Jonathan Abbey Pobi has fired back at Takyi Ahin ‘Thunder’, calls him ‘goroboy’ after the latter called him ignorant
The former Techiman Eleven Wonders manager in an interview revealed that some critics of Kurt Okraku administration are wearing a wooden spectacles, so they are findinf it difficult to see and appreciate the good works of the new association President, he again said the critics are still pinned because their preferred candidate lost in the GFA October general elections.
Takyi, specifically mentioned and Abbey Pobi (who is reported to have criticized the new administration for what he thinks will not help the Association) and called him ignorant
And in response Pobi who has been in football administration since 80s said
“Myself and Takyi Ahin were all ‘freedom fighters’ we were criticising Nyantakyi led administration for the same ‘bad’ things this FA is doing now, so what has changed that Takyi Ahin is now singing praises and even attacking those who are bold to point out to kurt and his people?”- Pobi told Listowel on Atinka fm
“Takyi Ahin is doing all these because of his stomach, he is hungry.
“Before the elections, i was not supporting any candidate, Takyi Ahin was part of Palmer’s campaign team, but now he is saying those criticising Kurt are wearing wooden spectacles, meaning Palmer is also wearing same because he has also criticise Kurt,
“So you see, Takyi Ahin is not consistent, he switches camps based on what he will get,
“He is the true definition of ‘Hunger is painful’, indeed hunger is painful.
“Ive been in football for over 3 decades and those who know me, can tell, am always consistent, Takyi [Ahin] can never compare himself to me. He is a goroboy.
From a freedom fighter to a goroboy, that’s Takyi Ahin.”
