Asante Kotoko defender Habib Mohammed has disclosed that he dreams of bringing the continental title to Kumasi
The two time CAF Champions League winners has gone on 37-year drought without getting their hands on the prestigious trophy and Habib who has impressed since joining the Porcupines has vow to emulates some legends of the club and help the team win the cup again
“Its very possible we can win African inter club trophy for asante kotoko again with the current crop of players at our disposal”, Habib told BA TV
“With God and hardworking from we the players its possible.
“Every player in kotoko is ready to die for the club as a saying goes, God help those who help themselves
“I want to make great history with kotoko like what the likes of Yussif Chibsah,Stephen Oduro ,Gordon Ablodey and the rest did for the club,so that I will also be remembered by the fans.”
Habib was played part and helped Kotoko to its first African club competition group stage after 10 years in 2018.
