Gyan to lead maxwel Konadu’s ‘FEARSOME’ XI at Kotoko-Report

Head coach of Asante Kotoko Maxwell Konadu will have a hell of a task in selecting his first 11 during match days after the returned of Richard Senanu, the recent signees Kwame Poku, Emmanuel sarkodie and a squad full of talents

This portal has preview the entire porcupine squad and has come out with a possible first XI that we believe Maxwell will use

In post will be Kwame Baah who before the suspension proved that he is one of the best goalies in the country, having benched Captain of the club Felix Annan and to perform like how he did under the pressure from some section of the media and some fans of the club, Kwame will be in post.

Our full backs will be Christopher Nettey, the former Attram de visser prospect has settled so well and playing one of the best footballs one can think off, before the league was suspended Nettey was one of two best right backs in the league.

Imoro Ibrahim will get the nod at the left back position ahead of Former black stars ‘b’ defender Patrick Yeboah. Imoro joined the porcupines ahead of the 2019/20 league season and after a slow start, The former Thunder FC Star gain his grounds offered top class performances week in week out. aside been good a crosser of the ball, the 20-year old is a set piece specialist and will even improve more.

Our center backs will be Habib Mohammed and Abdul Ganiu, Habib has established himself as one of the best center backs we have in our league, his consistent performances and hard work saw him at U-23 Championship in Egypt though Mateors failed to qualify for the Olympics, Habib was one of Ghana’s top performers at the tournament, Habib played important part of the Black stars B team that won the WAFU tournament in Senegal last year, after what seemed to be a tough start into the season where he was on the bench of the times, Habib forced his way into the plans of Maxwell Konadu and has became a starter since.

Abdul Ganiu is one of the best passing center backs in our league, he suffered serious injury and kept him out for a very long time, Ganiu was fit again and when he was about to kick start his season the league was suspended, but we have no doubt in our minds that Ganiu will get the last slot in the back four and will form a very formidable defensive partnership that will scare any striker.

Maxwell Konadu is a fan of playing a 3-man midfield and we believe the experience gaffer will settle on

Justice [Blah], Mudasiru [Salisu] and Richard [senanu] this trio will be the best in Africa, all three are very intelligent in what they do on and off the ball, Senanu before his injury was the best defensive midfielder in Ghana and proved that after forming a monstrous  partnership with Kwame Bonsu in the 2018 CAF Confederation cup competition where Asante Kotoko got into the group stage after more than a decade, we believe Senanu will rediscover his very best when the league returns

Justice blah doesn’t need to be talked about, he is the best box to box midfielder in the league

Salisu Mudasiru showed a glimpse of what he is capable of after injury slowed him when he was about to start his season, we believe Mudasiru will be fit when the league resumes.

The front three will be Augustine Okra, Asamoah Gyan and Emmanuel Gyamfi

Though Asamoah Gyan has not yet sign for Asante Kotoko, the former Liberty Professionals stars has openly declare his willingness to play for the Kumasi based club, we believe that the former captain of the Blackstars will join kotoko sooner than later especially after Maxwell [Konadu] wade into the discussion and endorsed the importance of having players like Gyan and Sulley [muntari] playing the Ghana league.

Okra [Augustine] is one of the best scoring wingers in the country and will continue to do so for the Porcupines when the league resumes.

Emmanuel [Gyamfi] has a enomous experience in the Ghana league, and has always cause problems for defenders with his pace and tricks, with Gyan Gyamfi will register a lot of assists.
