Asante Kotoko awareness group has disclosed that they’ve managed to strike a deal with MTN-Ghana which will now give a exact figure of their supporters base and offer them a common platform that will help them contribute voluntarily to help the club.
In a twitter post, the group tweeted
“We are done with the database platform. We have tested it and it perfect. We are waiting on MTN Ghana to provide us with the IPS momo number with code which will allow our supporters to voluntarily contribute towards the funding of the club.
Fabulous!!!!!
Thanks”
When ask about the importance of the data base collections
“1. Knowing our exact registered supporters officially.
2. Present us the right bargaining powers knowing the exact numbers of the supporters during negotiations with potential sponsors
3. Generating a continuous and consistent cash flow for the monthly or yearly running of our club.”
They went on to state that Asante Kotoko will gain from MTN based on the number of supporters that will enrolled into it
“With the pilot I have seen, there are other benefits attached to being registered and also paying your monthly contributions regularly..
We will be dropping them in bits and pieces so [that] we all get excited and embrace the huge success of the project.”
