Former Asante Kotoko striker Sogne Yacouba has seen his transfer to Medeama fell through and is likely to join King Faisal reports say.
Sporting director of King Faisal Nana Amankwah has hinted that they are weighing up the possibility of adding the Burkinabe striker to their squad and said he will have to work harder or will be second choice striker to Osman Ibrahim who is the top scorer for the club in the Ghana Premier league.
โWe are looking at the possibility of bringing Songne Yacouba to be a backup for Ibrahim Osman. Currently Ibrahim is ahead of him. Yacouba has not registered a goal in the league. But Osman has scored 8 goals so far
So we are looking at the possibility of meeting his representative and see how we can strike a deal.โ He said.
King Faisal has not won a match in 2019/20 Ghana Premier league and are languishing at the bottom of the league and will hope the acquisition of Sogne Yacouba will help them turn things around when the league resume.
