FIFA intermediary Yussif Chibsah has expressed his disappointment in current Asante Kotoko management for their decision to let Songne Yacouba leave the club for free after every indication showed that the Burkinabe was not interested in extending his stay at Kumasi.
Former Asante Kotoko Star Chibsah who is now agent of the Yacouba got a deal worth $50000 from a South African club but Asante Kotoko management rejected it.
Speaking to Accra based tv station Chibsah said
“I feel hurt when people blame me for Yacouba’s reluctant not to extend his contract with Asante Kotoko, he had his personal management before I came on board and when I came and realized the situation I quickly had to look for a deal for the him so Asante Kotoko will get something and not lose everything outright because Yacouba was not ready to stay at Kumasi.”
It has been confirmed that Songne Yacouba has joined Medeama Sc on a free transfer after running down is contract at Asante Kotoko.
