The deadly covid-19 pandemic has taken the life of former Hearts of oak defender Jonatha Oti Ankrah the club announces.
Ankrah, 84, died on Wednesday, April 7, 2020, in the United States of America (USA) after contracting coronavirus.
Ankrah has been in intensive unit for weeks now but couldnt hold on and was confirmed dead on wednesday.

“😢 |Everyone @HeartsOfOakGH is saddened to hear of the passing of our former player Jonathan Oti Ankrah (Joe Dakota).He was a pillar in defence at the club during the late 1960s and early 1970s. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this grievious moment.”
