COVID-19: Rayon Sports SACK Former Dreams FC player Michael Sarpong for ‘TEARING APART’ Club's President
Rwandan club have sacked Ghanaian striker Michael Sarpong for indiscipline
The club had earlier told the playing body on a decision to forgo their salaries amid Coronavirus outbreak
But Sarpong who felt the decision was not in good faith because the club forced it on them fires back through an interview with a local radio station Royal fm.
“He (club’s president) definitely doesn’t deserve this great club.” Sarpong said
“This great club deserves someone who is mature, who is able to speak to his players,
“I don’t think that now even the players want him to be where he is. I don’t think the players want him now. I don’t think that.
“It doesn’t make sense to me because the president never contacted anybody in the team.Not even the captain.Everybody in the team is mad about the things that we see shared in the media.It doesn’t sound sensible to us at the moment.”
Sarpong has been with the club for the past decade helping them to with the national league in his first season scoring 16 goals in the process.
