French coach Herve Renard has revealed his intentions to return to Ghana and lead Black stars to AFCON triumph one day.
Speaking to Juliet Bawuah of tv3, the two time AFCON champion said
“Yes i have to come back one day to help one country to win. That country havent won it for a long time and that is your country Ghana. I will love to win this feat with the black stars”
The one time technical member of Claude Le Roy led team helped Ghana to win bronze medal in 2008 AFCON which was hosted in Ghana.
Having led Zambia and Ivory coast to win the AFCON in 2012 and 2015 respectively the former Sochaux gaffer will hope to lead the black stars to it’s first AFCON since 1982.
The 51-year-old left his post as Morrocco National team caoch for Saudi Arabia after a dissappointing 2019 AFCON campaign in Egypt.
