After 3-years in office the Executive board chairman of Asante Kotoko has faced the usual scrutiny from some section of the media and supporters of the club, many thinks enough is enough the oil mogul should move on, others say, he has done pretty well to continue.

The division in opinions by the supporters on whether Kwame Kyei should leave or stay has been brought to a halt after Manhyia announced that three-member committee which include Lawrence Bruce Kyei, Esq, Mr. Kofi Owusu, Registrar Ashanti Regional House of Chiefs, and Prof. Lydia Nkansah, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) as the Chairperson for the committee were tasked to investigate into what led to Esperance debt which nearly relegated Asante Kotoko to Second Division, and other affairs of the club on 19th April 2020.

According to the release, signed by the chief of staff at Manhyia Palace, the Committee were to work and submit their report in four weeks

The following players and officials of the club have all spent some months and years in the hotel which was charged at Ghs200 per day.
