Nana Opoku Agyemang-Prempeh a Ghanaian footballer who won many hearts during 2010 African cup of Nation but saw his career come to a painful end, just a month after that impressive display for the Black stars at Angola.
Opoku Agyemang 30, was part of the Ghana U-17 Squad that went to Peru, he again helped Ghana win the U-20 world cup in Egypt.
His performance at the tournament impressed Black stars coach Milovan Rakjivac who later included him in the Blackstars squad for the AFCON finals.
Agyemang who was 26 at the time tore his knee ligament one month after shining at the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations in Angola where the Black Stars finished runners-up after losing to Egypt in the grand finale.
The unfortunate incident happened while playing for Al Sadd SC in a crucial Asian Champions League game against Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia.
It was a similar injury he had earlier recovered from before getting his career resuscitated at the Qatari side.
The former AshantiGold academy product couldnt recover from the injury and only made less than 30 appearances for the three clubs (Al sadd, Al-Ahly Doha and Levski Sofia)
Opoku Agyemang currently lives in Qatar doing his coaching badges and hoping to create a new career path for good.
Agyemang, the Pacy, skilful and tireless winger who was tipped by many to make huge impact on Black stars, saw his bloosom career come to a painful end because of injury.
