‘Show Us Respect, You cannot use our Money to be buying Yourself cars- Yakubu Moro fires GFA over FIFA cash

The covid-19 outbreak has brought economic hardship to football clubs across the globe and those in Ghana are no exception,

Ghanaian football club owners are hoping the football governing body will come to their aid and offer them some financial support,

Though many felt some sense of relief after it was reported last week that FIFA has allocated $150m for its 211 members where Ghana FA will get $500000 as their share.

But the bad news to them is that, the GFA through its communication department that, the money is not meant to be given to clubs but operational cost of the FA.

But Bankroller of Berekum Arsenal disagrees and has send a warning to the FA

“What he(Henry Asante Twum) said doesn’t make sense, if you inform us (Club owners) that you are going to solicit funds from Government for us amid Covid-19 downturn and thankfully FIFA has given you money why dont you give it to us?”- Yakubu he quizzed

“They did same when they collected $1m of GLO debt without given club owners a penny

“There wouldnt be GFA if there is no club, so am urging my colleague club owners to rise for us to fight for our rights, they shouldnt keep quite over this issue like they did when the GLO money came

“The GFA should think twice and aportion some of the funds to us, the suffering is unbearable to us

“Kurt okraku administration doesnt have any respect for football clubs”. He ended
