Kojo Asante: Opoku Nti refused to handover Kotoko email password to Kwame Kyei reason for Esperance debt

Asante Kotoko has been in the news in recent weeks all because of FIFA verdict that says the Kumasi based club should pay $240000 to Esperance over unlawful signing of Emmanuel Clottey in 2015. 

Dr Kwame Kyei who is the Executive board chairman of the club has come under serious pressure for exhibiting ineptitude in some of the transfer dealings especially that of clottey. 

But, Kojo Asante who is the special assistant to Kwame Kyei has revealed that the previous Asante Kotoko administration led by Opoku Nti cause the whole mess by refusing to release the password of the club’s official email address to the current administration 

 “Opoku Nti led administration changed the password of the official email address of kotoko” said Kojo Asante 

The move made it very difficult for Dr. Kyei‘ administration to assess information on the club dealings.”

Kumasi Asante Kotoko will have to fork out the money to settle the debt before 10th May, 2020 or face relegation.
