Kumasi Asante CEO George Amoako has conceeded the entire management of the club failed to do due diligience about Emmanuel Clottey tranfer saga when they took over from Opoku Nti led administration.
“We took the necessary steps in balancing the books involving Kwame Bonsu's transfer fees with Esperance but it couldn't workout which has led to this stage making this huge payment.” George Amoako said
“It's unfortunate but i think our ignorance and lack of information as management about the dealings with Esperance in the first place has resulted us in this competition so at this stage we only has to count on the supporters and worthy people involved at the club.”
Kumasi Asante kotoko will need to raised in excess over $150000 to clear of the entire dept before 10th May 2020 or face relegation.
