‘Eka abafie’ as FIFA tells Kotoko to pay Esperance and court sum of $240000 or face relegation

World football governing body has come out with a verdict compelling Kumasi Asante Kotoko to make a commitment sum of $180,000 and $45000 as accumulated interest which was 5% per annum to Esperance sportive de Tunis and additional $15000 as legal fees over unlawful transfer of Emmanuel Clottey in 2015. 

FIFA had established that Asante Kotoko registered clottey while he had a running contract with the North African Giant. 

Esperance had already used Kwame Bonsu transfer fee of $150000 owe Asante Kotoko to offset part of the debt 

Asante Kotoko will need to fork out a little over $149000 before it can settle all the debt and all payments should be made before 13th May
