The long standing transfer debacle between Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Player Songne Yacouba has finally been concluded as the player is now Medeama bound after completing a two year move on a free transfer.
Asante Kotoko management were hoping to strike a favorable deal for both parties in recent weeks but the Burkinaba striker had other ideas and has eventually joined the Takwa based club after seeing out his contract with the Porcupines.
It was reported that the representatives of the striker had proposed a deal worth $150000 which the management of Asante strongly rejected, since then the two parties have tried to come into compromise but to no avail.
Yacouba departure is a huge lost to the Kumasi based team but will have to take consolation from their slogan ‘wo kom apem aaa Apem b3ba’
