To help the Ghana Premier league club during covid-19 fight, the playing body have agreed to 40% pay cut till further notice
Asante kotoko first team has finally agreed to the plea of management to forgo 40% of their monthly salaries till further notice
Speaking to kumasi based radio station, the general manager of Asante kotoko disclosed the lattest development and applaud the players for their gesture
โIt is something we initially discussed at management level.โ Coker said
โWe considered the situation and our financial strength in containing our expenses and came up with some measures to help sustain the club during the suspension of the league due to Covid-19, and considered players pay-cut as one of the measures.
โWe called the coach and tasked him to engage the players on our behalf and he has reported back to us that, they have listened to our plea and have accepted a pay cut.
It is a 40% pay-cut and will be implemented soon.โ
