Deputy marketing manager of Berekum Chelsea Fredua Christopher has refuted reports that former Goal keeper Gideon Ahenkora was slapped by the bank roller of the club before he departed.
“I have seen publications circulating on social media that Gideon Ahenkora a goal keeper for Inter Allies football club accusing my club president Nana kwame Nketiah for slapping him for no reason.
I want set the record straight, Gideon Ahenkora conceded two goals under the first two minutes not under 20 minutes as he claimed during our game between Bechem United under the N.C competition. It was alleged he placed a bet on that game. He left Berekum chelsea when his contract expired and management wrote to him that he is free to join any club of his choice after over 4 years with the club. Please ask him why Bechem United refused to sign him. He should stop misinforming the public. He should rather thank Nana kwame Nketiah and Berekum chelsea for bringing him to the limelight
Nana Kwame Nketia never slapped him.
